I’ve been hunting an older mature buck on a trail close to his bedding area. He consistently moves 35 minutes after sunset and I’ve only once seen him after sunrise. There is a cold front coming this week and I read that the day after a cold front hits when the temperatures are low and the air pressure is high is the best time to switch and try a morning hunt. Anyone have experience with this? I’m wondering if I should hunt that morning or stick with evenings and hope he comes out a few minutes earlier? Rut still far away, I’m in South Georgia.

Try hunting both...in the morning get in the stand at least 30 minuets before legal shooting time and put on plenty of cover scent....he didn’t big and old by being stupid...
Big old bucks are only stupid during the rut 😊 Good Luck 👍
