Default Newbie bow hunter here

Been shotgun but never bow guys. What's a good beginner bow? My budget is 4 to 6 hundred. Also before just kinda went into the woods ans set up a stand saw a bunch of does 0 bucks. What are some good tips you guys can give a newbie to put me on some big bucks. I'm in the southern maryland region. Kinda confused on wind direction etc.

Go to a reputable bow shop and try out several and be guided by the people in the shop.

A good bow has to fit you. The ergonomics must be compatable with your body and form. There are many top shelf bows but you need to go to a shop and try them out to determine whether they'll work for you.
