Cool find in Gunstock storage compartment!
Curious, has anyone else found something interesting in their military surplus firearm's butt stock storage compartment? I saw a cool
on YouTube. I checked all my guns and found nothing of course!

I once found a rolled up $50 dollar bill in one of the cylinders of a Ruger Black Hawk that I bought used from a gun shop. It is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to me. I usually repeat the line from Hee Haw, " If it weren't for bad luck I 'd have no luck at all."

When I bought my 30-30 (1943) I took the butt plate off because it looked like it was seated poorly. Written on the stock, under the butt plate was a guy's name and address from New York, with no zip code. Haven't had luck tracking him down.
