I have never seen any deer moving in windy weather. Today we have 15mph winds from the NE and a 20 degree drop in temp.
Here in S.Ga. it is 65 degrees.
I have read and heard from one who has had success hunting nasty windy weather. His was right before a storm front and he got in the woods when the other hunters were leaving. He downed a 9 ptr.
With the full moon and this wind what is anyone' s guess for right now? The processors claim bucks are coming in with necks swollen.

Hunting windy weather is rough. It either makes deer great to hunt or impossible to hunt. It was incredibly windy this weekend. I was out sat morning, night, and this morning and we only saw one doe and two fawns. The temperature and cloud cover was perfect though. I guess the wind just put them on the move and we couldnt find em. You cant hear them either so you have to rely on sight.
