Must be something to it cause Myself and my sons hunted all day and saw nothing. There was plenty of sign in the way of rubs and scrapes though. We are packing in stands tomarrow to a huge island in the swamp for some allday hunts when the rut really kicks in. Tony

No expert here, but the moon does effect how deer move, just don' t always
understand how and why.

Yeah I hunted saturday in a good bedding area, from 11:30 to dusk hoping to catch some mid-day movement..........I didn' t see squat! I' ve done this a few times and haven' t seen any deer during these times, either I' m in the wrong locations or the mid-day rumor is bolony, I don' t think I' ll be sitting mid-day many more times except on openers.
