We begin rifle season here in Kansas on Wednesday.

Things are shaping up. One very exciting aspect this year is that I have extra vacation days I normally don't have. First week, I'll be hunting "in and out," and the second week likely camping on some public ground adjacent to the farms I'm actually hunting. An added plus is that I've got some new ground to hunt as well.

I'll be verifying my zero at the range today, and getting all the camping gear gathered up over the next few days.
