I use 150 nosler partition. I think 175 grain is plenty big for deer. But if you are shooting that great, stick to it.
When I went to Africa, I shot all 5 animals with 150 grain bullets. And all of them dropped like a rock, and the Kudu and Gemsbok are much bigger than whitetails. So I would consider dropping to 150 grain just for better overall range, because it has the knockdown power and the flat shooting trajectory as well.

If you are in an area where there are bears, that probably means you have big bodied deer too. If I wanted one bullet for deer and bear, I think I would stick with what you are using. Where I hunt in Texas, a good buck might weigh 180 live weight, so 175 would be an overkill and might pass through without opening up as stated above.

Well alrghty then, ill be staying with what i got set for. thanks to all...:)....8 more days until opening day....cant wait...ready to go now..
