This year is shaping up to be a great one. Double brow tines on this guy, hoping he can get some good length going! Spread seems to be there, mass looks like it will be there, and body is pretty thick for the 100 degree heat we've been having. Hoping to jump him late September, right after the velvet rubs off!

Haven't seen this guy since! Wondering what he is looking like these days. Opening morning is tomorrow, I'd love to see him hard horned, but will not pass up a 15 yds shot in velvet. Wish me luck! Can't help to think if he is a B&C or P&Y buck, assuming he could be pushing 150's by now, or so I hope.

I ended up getting my double brow time buck. November 12th I ended up grunting him in and shooting him with my muzzleloader during Nebraska firearm season (landowner requests hunters use shotgun, muzzleloader, or bow only.) Taxidermist estimates low 160’s to high 150’s gross. I’m 6’6” 300 lbs and he was every bit of 300 himself!
