We do have a mix of mulies and whitetails here. We have better quality mule deer than whitetail though. The quality of the whitetails gets better as you go north. The whitetails around here are just starting to drop their antlers. I saw a dozen whitetail bucks on Friday and all had both sides except two and those two were still sporting a single side. The Mule deer here will drop somewhat later. They are usually done around here by the middle of March but I have seen them with antlers into early April. The harder the winter the earlier they will drop but so far this year it has been quite easy.

There are no Mulies here in Ontario but lots of Whitetail. I got a nice double (Doe & 9 pt Buck) this fall, but the pics didn't turn out. Got a digital cam at Christmas and hope to fix that problem. I just have to get another Double Header again!! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
