First of all great buck.
Secondly and most suprisingly of all you used a 300 win mag with a 200 gr A-Frame and it didn' t exit. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT. You got to be kidding me. It must of been a bad bullet or something. That is just shocking.

You' re right, Brian, for wondering about that. I normally wouldn' t be using such a bullet for whitetail hunting but I just got back a couple of weeks ago from a safari in Africa and haven' t yet had a chance to sight the gun back in with a lighter load. Anyway, the fact that the bullet didn' t exit is primarily a function of the severe angle I had to use when shooting the deer. He had begun walking away and finally gave me a slight turn to the right just before he was about gone. Tought shot, but it was all I had. A smaller bullet may not have killed him at the angle I ended up using.
