Well, after being gone from here for about a year, I have returned! Retired, cardio issue popped up (OK now), build new home and moved one last time and have been in the deer woods. Season has been good. Bagged a nice heavy beamed, nice bodied 8 pt. Several does. Freezer packed with fresh venison. My tracking dogs found all but one that we needed to track. Going to m visit with my good HS bud that hunts with me. Hope you guys and gals have had a good year .... and hope the Good Lord lets me have a few more.

Mojotex, congrats on a successful deer season and good health report! Retirement is a great thing! I highly recommend it! It's not for everyone though, They can't handle the stress!
