Filled the freezer on Thurs with my 92nd deer. Nice plump whitetail doe from down here in TX. Easy shot, broadside at about 80 yards. One round from the 9.3x62 sent her straight into a dirt nap, never took a step, straight down which is what I like. Got both lungs and the top of the heart. Kept the loins, straps and 6 roasts and ground the rest. Spent yesterday turning her into three different types of sausage.
I'd post a pic but the photo sharing site I have used for years (hunt101) won't let me add any more photos for some reason so I need to get a new site. Any suggestions?
Cheers, Flags

Yeah, but I follow the adage of a PH I know: "What works for elephant will also work for impala but the reverse isn't always true."
I fell in love with the 9.3x62 years ago and it is about all I use even if it is a little big for whitetail. Overkill is an impossibility, dead is dead and it sure killed that doe in a really clean manner.
