Our bow season just went out and black powder is starting up. Got some meat for my freezer.

Nice shooting! I went out Sat. and took a similar 8 pntr and doe with by CVA Wolf. Never did get anything with my Xbow this year. Not seeing as many deer as we used to. I am hunting in Culpeper Co.

We aren't seeing them like we use to but they are still there. Just gotten smarter.

I havent had chance much to hunt over off 615 this year due to travel. Hope to hiy it hard starting Mon. Congratulations and hope you get more. Amelia is getting some nice deer these days. Saw an albino 2 weeks ago.

My wife uses a shot from a slight elevation to shoot down at the deer with its head down. She has them drop on the spot; got two last year inside eight minutes.
