Default My First Deer

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I got my first deer Saturday during the PA youth season. It was a button buck. He weighed probably 75-85 pounds. Somewhere in there.
Me and my pap went outside to the treestand (about 2 1/2 minutes from his backdoor) at about 7:00 a.m. and the deer was on the ground at 7:20. The deer come out of the neighbors cornfields every morning and pass right through my paps land to get to the bedding area. There was another deer with him but he/she (we could only shoot antlerless deer) did not give me a shot and I did not see what it was when it ran after the shot. It was in thick brush and I could just see it moving around a little bit.

Well, just wanted to let you all know. Wish me luck with a buck in the regular season. Good luck to you all as well!
