Good public land in S.E. Kansas?
I'm trying to find some decent public land to hunt in either unit 11 or 12 in kansas. I have an Archery tag and am looking for a decent place to hunt. Any information would be very helpful!

Two places come to mind: try mined land wildlife area or woodson state fishing lake.
There's not a lot of public land in Kansas.
also, look at the hunting atlas available on that website. The state leases out access to private land for walk-in hunting. You can also find them in wal-marts.
