RE: (Weather) or not I should hunt tonight?
Bad weather has always been good to me, I' d definately be out there.
Plus, I don' t get as many days afield as I used to and if I plan on hunting by goodness I' m hunting.

Don' t try to think like a deer. Weather has very little to do with a deers movement pattern. You have to be more in tune with what else is gong on in your hunting area. Will there be a great deal of foot traffic causing the deer to be more active? Do you stink? Are you well concealed and do you blend in well with your environment? Are you dressed properly for the conditions? Do you have extra batteries for your flashlight? What about toliet paper?

If you have a sudden or heavy dump of snow then it can cause a hunker down effect on deer, just like a fast hard cold snap or unseasonably warm spell. However if the weather is some what stable or been cool pattern wise with snow it should be an excellent time to be out in the woods. Not to mention the darkside of the moon should have deer moving earlier and longer during hunting times. I was out on friday in aweful winds and the deer were moving and feeding hard, it was cool, wet and miserable but still worth the time spent. I often say we can' t pick the weather for the day we can hunt, so chances are always better at filling a tag when in the woods rather than sitting at home wondering!
