I'm scouting a small tract of 50 acres on Sat. and I'm relatively new to early season scouting. What should I be looking for this early? I'd like to get my stand hung before I leave. Thanks in advance!
Also, I'd like to post an aerial photo of the property, but for some reason, I can't figure out how to attach it.

In early season, it's all about food. Look for food sources (acorns, field crops, etc.) and the routes that the deer use to get to them. The food doesn't have to be on your land, the routes do. Good luck.
