This will be a good pole to see what everyones opinion is as to the best deer call made and best sound to produce for bringing in deer. I use a Rod Benson tube and use the young buck grunt. I have had alot of success with that. What does everybody else use?

I have several different calls, but I' ve been getting a lot of response lately with a simple bleat call I picked up years ago at k-mart. The buck I killed and numerous does have been responding to it in a positive manner.

I was sitting in a ladder the other day in the evening watching a buttonhead eating in a food plot. At dark I decided to blow the grunt call(using a young buck sound) and hopefully scare the little guy off (mine' s an HS True Talker). To my surprise, the deer came running to me instead and stood at the base of my ladder and grunted as well. I had to climb down with him there and he did not leave until I ran him off.
