Is the land open hard woods, any fields around, any thickets, pine trees or clear cut, what kind of land, is it private or government land?

Sounds to me like you have a gold mine to hunt. HUNT THE CLEAR CUTS would be my first choice. Especially if it is about 5-6 ft tall in undergrowth. Deer walk out in it and let there guard down. Hunt there in the morning, make sure clear cut is up wind, and i would hunt the edge of the fields at night, especially if they are agriculture fields with crops.PS Hunt the clear cuts, the cats meow
