Used to hunt about 4 Saturdays in archery, 2 days in bear, 5 in rifle and 2 or 3 in muzzleloader season. I also dove hunt after work a couple of days in September. Now I have a baby and one on the way. Not too much these days.

I' ll bow hunt in NH most weekends until the 1st of Nov. I' ll spend about 12 hours each weekend early in the season and will see deer maybe one time each weekend on the average. As the weeks get closer to peak foliage and the days get cooler, the deer sightings will get higher. I also hunt the two NH M/L weekend and the first week of rifle season...M/L week is definitely (IMHO) the absolute best time to hunt deer in New Hampshire.

I usually hunt 2 times a week of either morning or evening and 1 full day a week most of the season. I also take a week for Moose or Elk and 1 week for whitetails a year where I hunt for 6 days dawn to dusk. Not bragging but when deer hunting I have never not seen deer, seeing the right one is the trick. The other game about 50-60% of the time.

2 or 3 mornings a week, and 4 or 5 evenings, I' m fortunate enough to have a good wife who understands, and my work is seasonal and this just happens to be the slow season probably see deer 50 - 60% of the time

I generally get out 4 days a week in bowseason. I try to put in 4 hours each time out depending on my schedule. Steve
