RE: please help me over this buck i found
Like i said earlier, he jumped because he was startled, a deer that has been spooked will not respond to any calls, pray for rain to wash scent away.

RE: please help me over this buck i found
There seem to be scrapes that are visited often and those that are not. You may find a lot of scrapes but if they are not primary crapes, I' d classify them like rubs. I can tell the direction that the buck likely travelled and I can tell that he was there once. Beyond that, they are no predictor of where he' ll be tomorrow. The worst time to pattern a buck is during the rut. The only pattern is that he' ll be somewhere around the does. I' d hunt there.
EX. I have been seeing a really nice nine pointer that would be the biggest deer I have ever harvested. Bigger than the one on the wall by far. He always, since August, comes into the field through a cut in the fence with a spike. Now as the rut kicks in, the spike has come in but this big guy is elseware. I am switching my hunting style to get him where he wants to be most with the does. This means moving my stand about 350 yards to an area where there is a high concentration of does to attract him.
