Default Deer Hunting Funnels

Is hunting funnels a successful strategy for late season whitetails? If so, Where is the best spot for stand placement? (in the middle of the funnel, on the outside edge, etc. any tips or advice would be great help. Thanks!

Main travel areas (funnels) can be hunted any time during a season and I would stay to the outside predominant downwind side of any of them for your stand placement.

High side if terrain allows and downwind always. Those are the types of places good for an all day hunt.

funnels are effective but once the rifle season starts and the deer are laying up until forced to move funnels will not be as effective for natural movement until someone moves the deer. Do not set up in the middle of a funnel, it will drastically change the movement of the deer, kinda like a roadblock.
