Default Need Help Scoring a Whitetail

This year I was fortunate enough to shoot my biggest whitetail ever, a nice non typical. His most distinguishing characteristic is his triple tined and palmated G2's on both sides. Now I need to figure out how to score them. I think it all boils down to where you draw the baselines.

Attached are photos of the rack with my best guess as to where the baselines should be drawn. The purple lines are the base lines, and the green lines are where I would take the measurement. I want to measure him for P&Y.

Is there anybody out there with some experience that can help me out?
Thanks!

Can you show a picture of the whole rack, what you are showing looks like two pieces.

Interesting dilemma you have! I am far from an official scorer, but what you drawn seems reasonable. I would also like to see a pic of the entire rack. Is that an eastern plains whitey?

I can send a picture tomorrow when I get in the office. I put a towel over the opposite side because all the extra tines were distracting. I took the buck in Wyoming on September 5th.

Are hard antlers normal on Sept 5th in Wyoming?

I was kinda wondering the same thing myself. They usually don't start shedding till around mid Sept. around there from what little I've seen. Bone hard, dried, and scraped off by Sept. 5th would be a rare thing indeed.

I just checked some pictures. I have one buck with hard horns Sept 4 and several by the 12th. Struck me as early at first but I guess not. I'm surprised that big guy had it ALL cleaned off already though.

I've hunted this spot before and they are just losing their velvet during the first week of September. Bigger bucks tend to shed earlier. I actually had this deer at five yards on September 1st without offering a shot. He was in full velvet.

Looks like a great deer. I bet he was awesome in velvet.

Here are a couple of shots of the rack, plus a field shot. He has 16 scorable points, including a sticker off the right G2 and a drop tine off the left beam. There are probably another half dozen points around a half inch long.
