Wish there was a better broadside shot of him so I could get a better idea of age. He looks, from what little I can see, like a nice young buck. probably 2.5-3 years old. Gotta love it when the youngins are wider than their ears!

I really wish some of you guys would learn to set your date and time on your dang camera's though!

Yeah maybe 4 looking at his body. But man it sure has a youthful muzzle don't it Rock? Not shortened at all. Damn near sleek as a Doe.

Caitlin Jenner buck?

We'll have to see what he looks like all rutted out. But I agree, he does have a sleek muzzle. And it's dark. I have a ton of daytime pictures and his face is very dark. That and his notched ear make him easy to identify.

Oh yeah, sorry about the date and times. I saw him in a field and just threw up the closest camera. Wasn't scoutring him in the field in June and July so I didn't bother. Just wanted pictures. I'll reset soon so I can figure out his movements. I have him in two places. One is the field and the other is way back in the woods. About 1/2 mile from the field. All overgrown clear cut between.

Summer look I reckon. It will be interesting to (hopefully) see how he takes form into the fall.

Muzzle does look young in the one picture especially but I think its the angle.

I thought "maybe that" too till I put my glasses on and looked closer at that blurry second pic. That is most definitely a young muzzle on a fairly mature body! Head hasn't "blocked" at all yet. But he already has that "bull dog" body working up. And Lordy look at the gut on that fella! He sure aint missin any meals!

He's got about 1500 acres of overgrown clear cut and we've had a lot of rain. So everything is very lush. The field is clover. Blueberries, black cherry are starting to ripen up. We have a orchard next to the clover field and we just put in about 10 acres of peas in the other field. Our hard mast is beech. Hopefully that keeps him nice and portly.

I added a daytime close-up of his mug.
