Are you talking about the spam?
I've never understood it-HN1 seems like a magnet for spammers, yet other forums I frequent which also use Vbulletin don't have any at all.
Maybe this should be in the tech help sub forum?
There must be something the admin can do, but isn't doing, to prevent the spam posts?
Banning and blocking the ISP does not work.
And yes, it is a form of trespass, imho.

IMHO, the site has gotten too profit driven is why the spam thrives, more members mean add money to both the site and the spammers so its a prime target. just my thoughts. Before spam became a problem you didn't have a dozen adds on every page.

No.
This isn't about ads.
This is about spam posts.

Adblocker has zero utility in this regard.

There was a point when the spam here was rampant, it is better now.
I do understand your sense of "invasion" though.
Again, seems this would be best addressed by mods/admin, perhaps in the tech help sub.
Edit:
Seems I tried that in 2011 to no avail--

This attempt yielded some results-

Besides, while I don't buy, it does keep me updated sometimes on products I'm unaware of.
Besides, they mostly are posts by NEW users, most times. Instead of making house calls, they use a web site right into the home. At least you can bypass the writing.
