How far apart should I set my deer feeder and mineral blocks? I have found a heavily travel trail and saw a few deer on camera around this area I have never managed an area before and just wanting to get some opinions

my feeders and mineral sites are about 100 yds apart now but you can put them close together depends on the size of the property.. I have 110 ac and have three mineral sites spred evenly through the property the feeder is in the middle

Red dots are mineral sites, white and red is feeder...I use lucky buck mineral but trace works good it just doesn't have all the beneficial vitamins and minerals for antler growth and overall body health.. There are lots of good products on the market I.W 30-06 work good too.

I have mine 20ft from my feeders. I even have one in my yard that they tear up. Trace mineral blocks are only $4, so I get several and place them on paths or where I want them to go. They dont last long once they find them.

while ours aren't directly on top of the feed plots we tend to keep them close (25 yards)

Check your state laws. Some allow hunting deer over bait, others it can be out just not hunted over, or any bait/feeders must be removed something like 10days before the start of the season.

We cant bait or feed wild game, except bear in certain areas. Idaho has some pretty strict game laws. Our muzzle loaders cant have scopes, you cant use sabboted bullets or pellet type powder and it has to have a open breech, and no 209 primers, must use a percussion cap. Our archery rules are just as strict, you cant use expandable or mechanical broad heads or any electronics on your sight including lighted sight pins. The list goes on, so make sure you know the laws in the area you are hunting.
