Default Exciting Hunt

Sitting in my stand on the Opener, I heard a grouse get flushed & later a stick break, directly behind me. I turned slowly to see a buck looking directly in my eyes, at 15 yards! As i slowly turned, he slunk away, i was SICK! I cupped my hands & gave 3 quick mouth grunts, no response, not a blow or grunt? Anyway i kept it up 4 the heck of it. 20-30min later i saw a big bodied deer 20yds away to my left in thick brush. I Leveled my .300 RUM at it, Bam he dropped. He was on the property line so I had 2 drop him, shot threw both shoulders, DOWN. This was, excitingly, the 3rd mature buck i called in, and got. Ive called many in but they never gave da shot! It was an exciting awesome hunt!

Sorry the last sentence should read - I've called in many, but only 3 gave me a shot.
