any of you guys see this show???
it's on netflix, a PBS special. biologists, zoologist, etc... giving up the scientific goods on whitetail deer. i had several (ahaa!!!) moments.
they explain tons of stuff.
like "deer in the headlights" effect.
the sudden bright light overloads their visual cortex, temporarily short circuiting their entire brain all at once. they literally can't move...
and how their eyes are built to be at their peak during the low light times in early dawn and late dusk.
the albino is cool too, i would have to be awfully hungry to shoot it though.
very informative show.
