Default deer feed

Curious as to whether any members here have experience with shredded beets as a food supplement. I plan on adding mineral blocks also.

A lot of guys in MI use whole beets as bait, but I've never heard of shredding them for feed or bait.

It's the result of the beets being processed and then shredded and bagged. Comes in pellets or loose. Used mainly for horses and livestock. Was hoping someone had some experience good or bag, with deer.

Fellow I used to work with sliced them on a kruut cutter for bait.
If it is sold for live stock feed it should be fine for deer. mix in a little sweet feed.
