Well the little doe isn't walking with us any longer but seems to be along the trail at some point every time we are out and lets us get as close as 5 feet from her.
Pup is behaving well also.

I used to watch deer stand and watch loggers logging with a big noisy machine, and watch my cousin bush hog with the tractor.I guess they know what's a danger to them and what's not.

I'm now in the market for a skidder to replace my ATV.
Figuring out how to mount a Lead Sled in a turret on the hood.

When we dropped trees late in the year, the deer would be hanging around before we left at the end of the day. There were always tops laying around that we had not chipped yet. Good deer browse. When you get an ice storm and it breaks the tops out of trees there are deer tracks all around it the next day.

Deer around the hose is a every day common thing for us.

Doesn't matter the time of year or day for that matter. Kare took this picture while I was back in the woods hunting.

Yes the turkeys go thru pretty regular also cleaning up bugs.

Is the deer in the top photo perhaps a doe that just had a fawn?

Most likely since the garden is just starting it's spring growth. late spring early summer.

Got a picture of that little doe yesterday will get it uploaded today I hope and post tomorrow. She seemed to really want to come closer and get her ears scratched like I was doing with the pup.

I took her picture morning 4-30-14.
She is still shedding and seems to skinny to be going to have a fawn of her own this spring.
