Default he's home from the taxi

I shot this buck with my bow the day after Thanksgiving, 2012. I got him back this week and am quite happy with the mount.

Nice work! Sure have come a long way from the old gnarly looking "deer heads" of years ago that you still see hanging in cabins sometimes.

Nice, I have one mounted in the full sneak pose. That was the position the deer was in when I shot him. How did you come about choosing that pose?

Very nice buck and mount, but what in the world took your taxi that long to get him done or was that a typo and you just shot him last November, rather than in 2012?

I agree, that's a long time even by a taxidermists standards. Nice job though.

Yup, thought the same thing... One thought that occurred to me was because it is such a nice job, maybe because the guy is so good he has a big back log of mounts to do... Another thought was maybe taxidermy is a side gig for the guy.
