I have no picture, or the rifle any more. In the 1970's I was hunting deer in a shaky tree stand with a 9X57 commercial Mauser made between the wars. It had double triggers. A buck came up from the wrong side, went right under me--if I had moved, he would have spotted me. He then went behind a young cedar tree. I could not turn around, so I was going to have to shoot from the wrong shoulder as soon as he came out from behind the cedar. I thought I would set the trigger and get ready, when "Boom". I had pulled the wrong trigger. Off went the deer. My buddy came up after awhile and asked if I had shot. I told him what happened, he went behind the cedar and spotted blood. The deer made it about 200 feet with a lung shot, laid down and died. It was a nine pointer, shot by accident, my first deer. If it had not happened to me, I would not believe it.
