ILLINOIS deer hunters, an absolute MUST read!

We were getting out of town that afternoon and knew we wouldn't be back. Had another place to hunt for the next few years, still haven't been back. We thought we would help them out a bit. If people are nice when were talking BS I don't mind helping them out the best I can.
Rockport, what (General) counties are you in. You don't have to say if you don't want. Just curious if you are within an hour or so of Peoria. Trying to see if you are near where I hunt.

I have permission on 500ish acres in Adams county (around Quincy IL) 500ish acres in pike (near Pittsfield IL) and about 50 acres in Scott county (near Winchester IL and not far from Jacksonville)
This year I killed a 10 point in Pike with my bow, a 16 point in Adams with a shotgun, and didn't hunt Scott.
Pike is the county that is loaded with out of town/state hunters although all 3 counties have their share.
I am very fortunate to have so much land to hunt. The outfitter interfered with the farming 1 to many times and got sent packing.

Tell your buddy I said thanks. If it wasn't for his neck of the woods they would be in mine.
lol a special thanks to the folks in Iowa and Wisconsin for giving our Chicago folks a place to hunt....Michigan to probably.
Don't worry we get them from all over the country. Luckily we do get a lot of south/south eastern folks that are nice people and actual hunters but just don't have big bucks where they live.
