Good point. The summit safety video shows the proper use and reason behind the suspension strap. My HSS vest is the pro hunter and has pockets. The safety suspension strap is always in the pocket just in case I needed to relieve the stress caused by all my weight on the harness. A screw in step or two would give a person the ability to deal with getting down. All these things are just ways to better the odds for a person hunting out of a tree. Even with every precaution there is always the remote possibility of an accident so people should always check their gear and evaluate their safety plans. Take nothing for granted.
