Hey everyone, just joined the forum!
Born and spent most of my life in Florida and now been living in Shawano, Co., Wisconsin for the past three years. This is my first year bow hunting, and I've been addicted ever since I first stepped foot into the woods. Needless to say it's left my wallet much lighter.
Don't think milking cows is gonna cut it for much longer!
I shoot a Hoyt V-Tech my buddy hooked me up with and hunt a 50 acre plot of private land, and whatever public land the wind allows for. Early in October I downed a nice doe on my fifth hunt. Double lunged her with a muzzy at 15 yards. She ran 20 yards and dropped. Still looking to down my first buck though..., it's been a tough rut for me surprisingly with all the does I saw in October. 'Spose all I can do is keep at it and try not to ever hunt single stands.
Hoping to learn as much as can and share what little knowledge I've learned in my short deer hunting career.
