I hunt in eastern va... Is it too early for estrus scent? I have seen a ton of scrapes pop up last week but no rubs. I have also noticed the bucks have split up. Don't want to use it too early and spook the does though! Any input is appreciated.

I personally never use estrus until Halloween and later. I will however put scrape starter scents or just plain old urine scents in scrapes anytime. Its all in personal preference to me and what your experiences have shown you. Good luck

I agree with Thunderchicken....anytime after Halloween is good...I have had a lot of success with using scents the beginning of Novbember..
