Well, I was out with my buddy the other day with his kid getting in some shooting practice before his elk hunt. 14 years old and I am letting him use my 30/06.
So his dad just kinda said something about wind drift and how it affects the bullet.
The kid looks at me and says "what if its raining, does it drop the bullet?" I say no, now wait I guess I never thought of that. Leave it to a kid to ask a question you are not ready for.
So, Does rain drop a bullet???? I might as well ask before I answer that question again.

not likely, I don't think a raindrop would have enough mass or energy to affect trajectory. Perhaps freezing rain over long distance could create a problem, but the odds of hitting enough rain in mid air to amount to anything is unlikely.

Does Rain Affect POI?
Now if one was shooting at 200 yards or less, the deviation might not be enough to make for a bad shot.
