Who is ready for tomorrow? The first day of Deer Season?
I know I am, I planning on getting up early and getting out to the blind, Maybe drink some coffee Or perhaps some expresso.
Anyways Good luck to everyone

We've been Bow Hunting here in Missouri since Sept 15 (our Archery Season opening date),so far it has been pretty decent with the rain and cooler weather.Lots of good Deer movement, plenty of acorns and lots of browse for the Deer.
I've passed on several Young Doe's and have seen several Fawns and Young Bucks...waiting on one of the several nice Bucks we have roaming around...soon they will be making scrapes and skirting the field edges looking for and running the Doe's and making mistakes!
Good Luck to You Green Horn Hunter, hope You get a nice Buck or a Big Ol Mature Doe!

I've been out since Sept 6 which was our opener here in MD. Its been better this year in the early season than years passed. I believe its because we had some good rains this spring and summer which has resulted in 90% of the cornfields around here are still standing. Looks as if they will be left to stand much later this year and when they are cut they will be picked and not just cut down to feed the cows like the last 3 years. Good luck to everyone.
