You guys got to be kidding! That buck is easily well into the 150s if he's an inch and he would lose only a few inches in deducts as symetrical as he is!!!

thats what im saying!!!! 150's!! you should have posted this in the archery forum, a lot of those guys are good at guessing scores.

150 lol!Not with those weak brows and mass and spread.i better rescore some of my racks they might score 200

skinnnner 01-06-2013 09:33 AM

Id say they are both a little better than 140

DeppedyDogg 01-06-2013 09:43 AM

Me guesses

1st: 147-1/2
2nd: 144-1/4

Pure guess.

Neither picture, especially the small one, is really good enough to make a decent guess. I also don't believe anybody is insulting anybody else. That's the whole problem when somebody comes on a forum asking for guesses because that's exactly what it is when you can't put your hands on the rack. I also stated in an associated thread how hard it is to come up with a close score since all you have to be off is an inch on each measurement, which is easy to do just looking at a picture, and you've missed by 15" plus or minus. One or two guys on this thread have put a range of 15", which maybe I should have done too. I could have said 140-155 and would probably be in the ballpark, which is actually the verbiage the OP used to begin with. So what if we are wrong, as it's a guessing game when you look at a picture. You guessed his bases at 4" and I think they will go 5" or a little more based on a mulie that I have that's about the same and he's 5 1/4" by actual measurement!

I agree with you. I have a 193 and a 161 on my wall along with several in the 135 to 145 range and I believe this deer is closer to 150 than 135 for sure. If its not I want be surprised though as the picture is hard to tell.

Please show us a picture of the 193" you have, as that is one heck of a buck, as is a 161" too!

It is posted on here somewhere. I posted it about a year ago. I will see if I can find that post and if not I will post another pic later. That was his gross score. I cant recall his net score right off but I dont care about net. Ithink he was aroung 180 net.

What about it? It's nice that you've killed some big deer, BUT that doesn't mean your guess is the correct one on the Forum now does it?
