Question Hunting in the fog

What's your experience with hunting in the fog? Do you see more deer movement when hunting in the fog? Will deer move more in foggy conditions with the added cover? I guess I'm about to find out, it's supposed to be foggy till around 10:00am.

Fog insulates sound as well. Not only does it provide cover visually, it also can mask your approach (noise made while walking) to and from your particular hunting spots.

Default Fog

Hunted Page County VA in the fog once after a snowstorm.
Saw lots of deer. Think they feel more confident moving around in fog.

Just IMHO.

I just got back from 6 hours of FOG hunting. NOTHING !!!, not a single deer movement all day. And the other hunters in the parking lot said the same thing. It was freezing drizzle very early in the morning, then it dried up, but the fog stayed all day. 50-100 yard visability.

We saw nuttin.

Just glad he harvested a doe the first day!

I like the novelty once every 5th season of being out in a fog, but I do not like getting wet (some fogs will soak you) or iced, and seeing or hearing more anything is difficult.
