Cougar,
check out the Alum-i-lite carrier in Cabelas $119.99 weighs approx. 11lbs the 16" wheels come off and it folds up for easy packability/storage. I have one and it was well worth the price. The solid 16" tires go over just about any kind of terrain (provided you don' t have a lot of blow-downs in your path...lol....) I' ll never go back to draggin' them out again!!!!

Where I hunt, nortwest Wisconsin, we never know if we are going to have snow or not, we go prepared either way. My friend acquired ;) an aluminum hand truck from where he works with the 10" pheumatic tires on it, we took off the handle and bolted a sheet of 2' x 5' plywood to it. we then bolted the handle back on so it does make the truck a little longer. on the sides of the plywood deck, we attached eyebolts so you could attach rubber bungee cords. We have used this twice now, since there was no snow and it is a back saver. If we have snow, we have these kids flat sleds that works wonders also. We can use these once we drag the deer to the old logging road....the woods is a little tough to get the hand truck thru all the blowdowns.
