Default 1st time slug hunting

Hey guys im new to hunting with a slug gun, I always hunted with a rifle. I dont have a rifled barrel so i need to know what choke tube full or mod, and do i use rifled slugs.. thanks

Without a rifled barrel I would us an Improved cylinder with rifled slugs. I think a modified choke will work, but an improved is what most manufacturers recommend for slugs.

You might want to get a low-power scope too. Typically a shot gun does not offer much of an open site. Cabelas has one for about $50 especially for shotgun slug hunting.

im going to try a Mod choke tube because all the stores are sold out of IC choke tubes..
