Default got my first whitetail

went out about noon today and spooked 2 deer again on my way in found me a couple places to sit and wait and then moved to the edge of a ridge and as i was walking away from the ridge spooked them again but they only ran about 10 yards or so ended up having a stare dwon with them and finally was able to take a couple shots. first shot was low they moved about another 10-20 yards and took the second shot. watched them run off and seen one fall and start thrashing around on the ground walked up to the area where i seen it fall and found the blood trail tracked it about another 10-15 yards and found this....

i know it's small but not bad for a first.... gonna go out again either friday to see if i can get my first buck...

Congrats! Size does not impress me as much as the hunters respect.
Each deer is a gift and a life.
Saw a guy shoot a monster years back and he had no more respect for it than a road hit cat.
(Sorry for the rant.)
You put a great hit on it! Good luck on your buck.
