Question about rub lines
I found a rub line about 50 yards from my stand. Will a buck keep coming back to the rub line? During rut they move so much. Will they frequent this area??

They will but bucks are cruising so much right now that they aren't on their regular routine of feed to bed. IMO I get really excited when I find huge rubs and a really pronounced rub line in about the 2nd to 3rd week of October. Bucks are still hanging in their core area and much easier to pattern and if you had found this line 2 to 3 weeks ago I'd say you struck gold. Right now its hard to say whether he will be around or not. He may very well be or he may be in the next county chasing after does. Good luck!

Also, a lot of the rubbing and scrapping (about 80%) happens at night...so just because you are on a rub or scrape line doesn't guarantee you to see deer. It is a good indication the deer frequently use the area though and a matter of time before they mess up.

I found the rub line and scrapes a few weeks ago. But never got the chance to see the buck. I was hunting early mornings and you could see the rubs were fresh, so they probably did happen during the nights. I did see a big 8 chasing a doe last weekend. Whether or not it was the same buck I don't know and he never got close enough for a shot (bow hunting). Never caught him on camera. Once the cold weather hits here I will move my stand because most of the traffic through there will stop, and it looks like it'll be mighty chilly next week. Next year....:-)
