Default Remington Core-Lokts or Winchester Power-Points

For whitetail deer hunting, they both pattern the same out of my rifle, at least out to 300 yds.

If either one pattern the same then I would say shoot whatever you feel best with. I personally put down the core lokts for Hornady rounds several years back and have not looked back. Hornady flies much better for me, but every gun is different. Good luck and shoot straight!

No deer will ever tell you the difference. Shoot straight and you'll get your deer.

I shoot hornady interlock, my son shoots rem core lokts. Both do the job every time. Never shot the winchester's so can't comment on them.

I have used the Rem. core-lokts for over 30 years and they have always preformed well for me. Used them in everything from a 30-30 to a 7mm Rem.Mag. The Winchester bullets I have not much experience at all.

I shoot the core-lokts in a Remington 760. I used to shoot the Winchester in a marlin .30-30 and a Remington 700 but I now reload for both of those. The 760 prefers the core-lokts. Both have performed well on deer out to around 350 yards. Hit where you aim and either one will do the job.

I use the Core Lokts exclusively in my 700 and 70. Never had to take a second shot at a deer with them.

Winchester power pints are what I use. They work fine. No reason to doubt the core lokts wouldn't work just as well, though.

Shoot whatever's on sale.
