The temperature was fine. Not sure that I'd be eating it after the yotes had their feed though.

You have already taken what meat you thought was good, so you have basically claimed the deer and should have tagged it already. The temp was fine for it to sit over night without spoiling.

Now let's get to the coyotes. They are scavengers, and will eat anything to survive. You have no idea what they may have or if they are rabid. Chances are, they are not. But, even though you say they only ate the rump out, you didn't notice where they may have only bitten and not tore meat out. I know the straps are good eating, but if there is a chance the yote may have sunk his choppers into the meat, I'm not taking any of it.
