When do bachelor groups typically start to break up in your areas in relation to the rut? They are still hanging around each other here in eastern Oklahoma and probably will for a least a few more weeks. The rut here is usually around the 2nd week of November give or take a week or so.

That is a nice group.

It seems like they start breaking up here in Illinois in early October.

I had a bachelor group of 5 hanging around here all summer...they have already broken up...about the time they started shedding their velvet...

I 've been watching a lone (dominant) buck for over a month

In my region of Pa (SE), the groups are starting to breaking up and I'm seeing some lone bucks.

I just saw a group on Tuesday that I had seen before on the way to work here in MD.

They were broken up here in MO by Opening Day, 9/15. That seemed a little earlier than normal.
