Default Target Buck (pic)

Found this shed at the end of last year's season. Saw the buck once while spotting. Loooked like he was 3.5yo. He should be really nice this year.

I will be hunting every day I have available to me. Our opening day is this Saturday. I'm going to hunt three Saturdays in October and the first two in November. Our camp is 2.5 hours away so I can only hunt Saturdays. No Sunday hunting in PA.

I measured the shed and, it would be around 140 if the other side matches and the spread is 20 inches. I saw the deer once and it was wide and looked to be around 3.5 yo. I'm hoping that he makes a big jump from his 3.5 to his 4.5 rack and we have a legitimate 150 inch 5X5 running around. That would make a nice hat rack.

Thanks, me too!!!

We didn't see this buck all year until January. I hope he's a home body that just didn't come out in the open very much. I will be hunting between where I saw him, found the shed and the steep mountain side where I think he may hide in the day time.
