It sounds like they might not have to! If they have cover, food, and water all in one spot they will likely just stay there during the day! Heat will keep them laid up too! What state do you hunt in?
Like bowtech86n said, try to move closer to the bedding area, but don't get too close! Too much pressure will cause them to leave that spot and/or go nocturnal!
I suggest you find well established trail and set the camera on it. Become a "deer stalker", find it, watch it from afar and figure out it's daily routes/habits!
