in the middle of last year we lost our 300acre farm to hunt on. we planned on hunting public land and then my brothers friend offerd for us to hunt at at his house he owns 30 acres like 5 or 6 wooded. we cut his grass and today i saw 5 decent bucks there and there were 2 130+ inch bucks. so there is hope for this season and i know were im gonna be opening day

hunting public land isnt as bad as you may think. last year my dad took a 120" buck in gun season. i saw a 150" buck in archery, with a couple that were around 110-120". Even though population of deer is down in NW and NC PA, the antler restriction is helping. good luck on your new property.

The deer you see in summer, may not be on the land in hunting season. Especially on small acreage.
What's your backup plan if hunting turns up zeros.
Know a professional in deer management who had a magnificent antlered buck on his large piece of land. Much larger than 30 or 200 acres.
Neighbor shot the buck on his neighboring property.
